چکیده

BACKGROUND: Premature Rupture of Membranes (PROM) is significantly linked to the infections-related maternal deaths. In inflammatory process, influencing stressor will stimulate activation Nuclear Factor Kappa B (NF-κB) and Receptor Advanced Gyclation End product (RAGE). Yet up date, expression NF-κB RAGE in pregnant women with PROM are still rarely studied. Therefore, this study aimed observe differences from non-PROM subjects.METHODS: This was a cross-sectional involving 20 subjects infections complications. Samples fetal membrane tissue were obtained put into paraffin block preparation for determination expression. The detection conducted using immunohistochemical staining observed under an upright light microscope. expressions later calculated ImageJ software. RESULTS: Both found be higher compare subjects. median 32.47±1.22 5.59±1.09, respectively (p=0.000). While 53.58±3.46, 11.64±2.49 (p=0.013).CONCLUSION: There significant difference between membranes increased can used as potential marker detect complication PROM.KEYWORDS: premature ruptures membrane, non-premature

Maternal and fetal outcomes in term premature rupture of membrane.

BACKGROUND Premature rupture of membrane (PROM) is linked to significant maternal prenatal mortalities and morbidity. In Ethiopia, where maternal mortality is still high, the maternal and fetal outcomes in PROM is very important to decrease maternal and child mortality and for better management and prevention of complications. Thus, this study aimed to detect the maternal and fetal outcomes and...

BACKGROUND In this study, we aimed to investigate the expression of NOD-like receptor protein 3 (NLRP3) and caspase-1 in fetal membrane and placental tissues of patients with premature rupture of membrane (PROM), and to explore their role in PROM. MATERIAL AND METHODS Ninety women participated in this study: a control group of 30 healthy pregnant women, 30 with PPROM, and 30 with TPROM. Immunoh...
